AAU Girls 3-on-3 National Championships to Take Place During Women's Basketball Hall of Fame Induction Weekend

A weekend of fierce competition, celebration, hall of fame inductions, and women’s basketball history. Women’s basketball greats and some of the best girls’ basketball players from around the country are headed to Knoxville, Tennessee.

Knoxville, Tennessee – A weekend of fierce competition, celebration, hall of fame inductions, and women’s basketball history. Women’s basketball greats and some of the best girls’ basketball players from around the country are headed to Knoxville, Tennessee. 

The AAU Girls 3-on-3 Championship will take place this upcoming weekend as well as the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame induction ceremony. For the girls, the tournament will be into two different divisions of play, Middle School (5th – 8th) and High School (9th – 11th). Competing under the same roof will also be the AAU 3-On-3 All American games, which will feature the top 32 sophomore players in the country who where chose to compete.

Off the court, our young athletes will witness history as they watch some of their idols be inducted into the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame. The ceremony will be held on Saturday April 27, and will feature a group of AAU Alumni who are on the ballot. The Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2024 features six Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) alumni, including Maya Moore, Seimone Augustus, Sus (Susan) Philips, Roonie Scovel, Taj McWilliams-Franklin, Rita Gail Easterling, and Violet Palmer.
