DALLAS, Tex. (August 15, 2022) -- Dakota White started making headlines last year when TikTok videos went viral of her blowing away her competition. During the summer, she teammed up with other runners on the Xpress Track Club to set a new record at the 2022 AAU Junior Olympic Games.

Dakota and her teammates set the record for the fastest race in the 8 and under 4x100 meter relay sprint. The previous record was held by My Sisters Keeper Track Club set in 2021 with a time of 59.33. The Xpress Track Club broke that record and set a new time of 59.08.

Dakota was the third leg of the relay. She is now being referred to as the "fastest kid in the nation." Hear what she has to say about it and how hard she has trained for this moment. Watch the interview on fox4news.com
