Four champions were crowned in their respective divisions at the 2020 AAU Honolulu Grand Prix in Hawaii on February 15-17.

HONOLULU, HI – With the 47th AAU Junior National Volleyball Championships on the line, four champions were crowned in their respective divisions at the 2020 AAU Honolulu Grand Prix in Hawaii.

The event was held February 15-17 on nine different courts at the Hawaii Convention Center in Honolulu. The field of 64 teams was comprised of 800 athletes in four different age divisions: 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U.

Each of the four winning clubs went undefeated in the tournament to win their respective divisions. Maunalani 12s Hurley ran the table with a perfect 9-0 record to prevail in the 12U division. On the way to the championship, the squad went without dropping a single set. The same could be said for the 14U champion, SAS Girls 14s Red. Kamehameha Schools VBC won the 16U division with a perfect 8-0 mark in matches, while Lanikai Athletic Club 18 Kea earned its title with a 10-0 record in the 18U tournament.

The next major volleyball event, the 2020 AAU Volleyball Classic, will take place March 7-8 at ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, FL. Check in for the event will take place on Friday, March 6th. More information on the AAU Volleyball Classic can be found here.

The crown jewel of volleyball events, the 47th AAU Junior Volleyball National Championships, will be held June 16-28 at ESPN Wide World of Sports.
