Dates: December 29, 2019
Location: The Star in Frisco, Texas

Schedule | Texas Tournament Home | Arkansas Tournament Home

ORLANDO, Fla. – Rivalry games are one of the most exciting games to attend, and this one is the granddaddy of all the AAU rivalry games. Not only will it be two teams competing, but two whole states lining up on the sideline.

For the last six years, the teams have played at the AT&T Stadium, and this year, Texas and Arkansas will have the privilege to play at “The Star” in Frisco, Texas, a more intimate facility that will get the fans closer to the action.

In addition, the AAU Football All-Star Battle of the Border has been expanded from seven contention games to 11 games, nine of those are tallied in the contest of the Battle of the Border trophy. Arkansas currently leads Texas with a 4-2 overall record.

Games will kick off at 10:30 a.m. with the 8U showdown of North Texas vs. Northwest Arkansas. Other age groups competing will be the 10U and 12U, and the 6U teams (flag and tackle) will have a unique opportunity to put their own stamp on this historic tradition.

Be sure to also take advantage to receive a tour of the Dallas Cowboy’s Facilities. The tour and several photo opportunities are included in the purchase of a game ticket.
