Sports Travel Magazine's annual Sports Travel Awards are given out each year to the very best sporting events, venues and hosts in the sports-event industry. 

The 2019 AAU Junior National Volleyball Championships is nominated in the category of Best Amateur Sports Event.

Since 2012 this event has held the Guinness Book of World Records for most teams competing at a volleyball event.

Thanks to the dedication and passion of our AAU members, the 2019 AAU Junior National Volleyball Championship boasted 2,805 boys and girls teams, 45,000 participants and more than 100,000 spectators creating an economic impact of $108 million to the Orlando area.

A big thank you to Visit Orlando, the Orange County Convention Center and the Walt Disney World Resort for another terrific year, and most of all thank you for your continued participation and love for youth sports.
