Former North Carolina Governor, Pat McCory, received the inaugural ‘Early Contributor’ Award for outstanding dedication and commitment to the growth of AAU sports programs in the state of North Carolina. The announcement was made on Friday, May 31 on the morning show of WBT Radio, Charolette’s most listened to News/Talk radio station. Sean Kilmartin, North Carolina AAU Governor and AAU Board Member, gave the honor, saying “You volunteered your time selflessly, and you helped us out, including refereeing a load of basketball games.”
