RECAP: Minnesota AAU Girls Basketball Championships

Minnesota AAU Girls Basketball had a record 257 teams enter in the 2019 District Championships, May 10-12, in Grades 4 - 11.

Minnesota AAU Girls Basketball had a record 257 teams enter in the 2019 District Championships in Grades 4 - 11. After a preliminary weekend of pool play, teams were then slotted into Division 1, Division 2 or Division 3 Championship brackets based on their pool play results. On Mothers’ Day, May 12, 18 teams earned their AAU Championship rings.

Without a doubt this two weekend tournament event showcased the best of Minnesota’s girls’ basketball talent and some of the highest quality competition in the upper Midwest.
