PREVIEW: 2019 AAU Volleyball Classic

Approximately 4,000 athletes will take to the courts at the 2019 AAU Volleyball Classic next weekend, March 30 – 31. Competitors will cover nine different age divisions from 10U up to 18U and will be local teams, as well as traveling from Georgia, Colorado and Canada.
 
Players will utilize a total of 34 courts between all three venues at ESPN Wide World of Sports, marking the first-time volleyball has competed inside the Arena. The Arena, newly opened in 2017, is a 50,000 square foot facility with seating for roughly 8,000.
 
Check in will began at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 29 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Pool play will kick-off on Saturday, March 30, with single eliminations to follow on Sunday, March 31. A list of event schedules are available at www.aauvolleyball.org.
